For the public opinion i used the reviews i found on the event so this is just some of what i found. Someone named Nick said "The concerts were amazing, the convention less so. This year felt like a turning point for KCON, with the opportunity to either grow into something amazing next year or devolve further into chaos. I’m hoping for the former, because we k-pop fans deserve a well organized convention in addition to the always-impressive concerts." Then from someone named Lo said"Saturday was definitely the better night of the concerts. I’ve never been a Dean fan– too slow and measured for my tastes– but he killed it onstage. Just so much charisma. I.O.I. was pretty fun, though I was bummed that “Crush” wasn’t on their setlist. The highlight, though, was SHINee. Seeing their dancing up close and personal changed my life. The vocals were stunning, the setlist was awesome; “Beautiful” was an unexpected but fabulous choice. And yes, Willis, Minho somehow went from my least favorite member to tying with Jonghyun for my SHINee bias. I don’t know either." Next Cjontal said"Surprisingly, I.O.I was my favorite from the night. Trust that SHINee collected every ounce of my soul, but I.O.I opened the concert with such great, bubbly energy. I didn’t expect to even sing along, yet here I was bouncing around the pit to “Pick Me.” Going back to SHINee, I think I blacked out briefly when Jonghyun and Key moved to our section because I still wasn’t ready to see my bias Jonghyun that close. I recorded a bit of the historic moment, but the first 10 seconds is me shaking the camera and trying to gather my brain cells. I completely lost it!"
This is Reviews about the covention. Amanda said,"We didn't get a chance to eat lunch earlier since we spent a majority of our time in queue, so we left the exhibition hall to find food, of course, we encountered more lines for every food place. At least we got to eat something before going back into the exhibition hall to check out the rest of the booths and merchandise offerings. We stumbled upon a really amazing 4DReplay capture booth in which a long row DSLR cameras snapped Jen and I jumping in the air. And that pretty much sums up our KCON 2016 USA experience, hopefully we can have a better experience for the next one, check out the shot of all the beauty products below (which brands were offering special promos, so this is a great way to stock up on products because you can test them in person and get your hands on the latest kbeauty innovations)." Miranda then said,"The convention was HUGE!!! They had different sections designation for certain types of booths or products which made it a little. For example the Beauty Block, where you could find amazing beauty products. In all they had, Beauty Block, Marketplace, Swag Bag Pick Up, Fan Clubs, Running Fan, Sponsors, Small Stage, Dance Workshops, Cultureplex, Creative Korean Roadshow, Flowerboy Café, and Kcon TV all inside the convention area. Next door to the convention was the Fan Engagement and Red Carpet area. Because I am on crutches, I didn't want to have to sit in during an audience session, and decided to only go if I got a Hi-Touch pass (Which I sadly did not get). And Kcon official merchandise could be purchased downstairs with Check-In and Bag Checks. Lines were pretty long for almost everything, but they went by faster than you would think. There was always something to do, and sometimes you had to choose one thing over the other because there was just to much to see and do."
