As for the Background information Kcon has been around for only a few years the first kcon in LA was in 2012. Everyone was very excited for it since it was the first real Korean convention where all the kpop lovers can meet and just talk with eachother about kpop. And every year the convention is getting more and more known and more people are starting to attend. such as Youtubers who do reactions to kpop videos, do covers of kpop dances, or even just test korean beauty products. This was also great because it gave a chance for people to see their favorite groups, and also gives the idols the chance to come to LA and interact with international fans. Then more kcons started to come about like kcon Paris,New York,Mexico, etc.Last year was also the first time the Convention was inside instead of Outside where it super hot. But the food is still outside because you can't really bring a whole bunch of food trucks inside the convention center.
Kcon was also organized by the South Korean music label and entertainment agency Mnet America. Kcon's aim was to establish an annual flagship event that will improve the experiences of American fans by providing them with an affordable way to connect with each other, as well as with artists and professionals from the K-pop music industry. about the concerts i don't really know about all the concerts that much because i've only been to the last concert so i can't really compare them. But As the Years go by i feel that the better the music will be and more experienced the groups will be at the whole Kcon thing.Like i said i can't really compare this year to the previous years but this year the concert went by very smoothly and with no problems the MC's where good and very energetic and happy to be there. Like Amber from F(x) and Key from SHINee where very good MC's and did a very good job and knew what they were doing. They were also funny and i feel that it's important to make the crowd laugh.
